European and US mattresses do not always fit Malaysian frames. Imported foam toppers shift the height. Vintage mattresses are sometimes 5 cm shy of a queen. Whatever the reason, a custom-built frame fixes it without compromise.

Pair the bed with matching nightstands and a foot bench

Most of our bed commissions are bought as a three-piece set: the frame and headboard, two slim walnut nightstands with brass pulls, and a small upholstered bench at the foot of the bed. The cost penalty for adding the supporting pieces is small, and the finished room is visibly composed.
