Yottabit Bespoke Sdn Bhd (Company No. 1156342-A) operates this website at yottabit.pro and our furniture atelier at Lot 7, Jalan Industri Glenmarie 6, Glenmarie Industrial Park, 40150 Shah Alam, Selangor. This policy explains what personal information we collect from you, why, and what rights you have under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry, book a studio visit, or place a commission, we ask for:

• Your name and the name we should address you by
• An email address and (optionally) a mobile number so we can reply
• A short description of the piece, room or project you have in mind
• The delivery address, once you confirm a commission

We do not collect identity card numbers, financial account details, or biometric information.

Why we collect it

We use the information you share only to:

• Respond to your enquiry and prepare sketches, quotes and material recommendations
• Schedule, deliver and install commissioned pieces
• Process payment of deposits and final balances (handled by our bankers; we do not store card data on our servers)
• Keep a record of the commission so we can repair, refurbish or re-cover it in future

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade your data to anyone. We do not run a marketing email list and we do not target advertising at you. We do not transfer your data outside Malaysia.

How long we keep your data

Enquiries that do not become commissions are retained for 24 months in case you return to the conversation, then deleted. Confirmed commission records are retained indefinitely so we can support future repairs and re-covering — you may ask us to delete these earlier and we will, except where retention is required by Malaysian tax law (currently seven years on invoices).

Cookies and analytics

We use a small set of essential cookies to keep your form submission state during a session. We use a privacy-respecting, IP-anonymising analytics tool to count which pages are read and which are not. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, Facebook pixels, or anything resembling profiling. Full details are in our cookie policy.

Your rights under the PDPA

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct errors, to ask us to delete it (subject to the legal retention period noted above), and to withdraw consent for any use of it at any time. To exercise these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "PDPA request" and we will reply within 14 working days.

Children

This is a furniture atelier; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we do not direct any marketing at minors.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change. The "effective" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on the home page for at least 30 days.
